What size flyer should I print?
Most flyers are printed at 8.5 x 11 inches (letter) because they fit on bulletin boards, in folders and through standard office printers if you need a few extra later. Half-sheet flyers at 5.5 x 8.5 inches cost less per piece and work well as handouts and counter cards. If your flyer will hang outdoors or in a busy window, a larger poster size may serve you better.
Which paper should I choose for flyers?
A text-weight gloss or matte sheet is standard for handouts and inserts. Step up to a heavier cover stock when a flyer needs to stand up in a rack, survive being passed around, or feel more substantial in a sales meeting.
